Equalnomics

Study for the future

For more than 60 years, numerous reports have been published advocating a change of direction in the money-growing economy. What do we not understand?
Today the word 'economy' has a deceiving connotation. Time for a new understanding that brings balance between financial, human and ecological values; Equalnomics.
Equalnomics is a program that encourages students to become more aware of the effects of the current economic system. Why is the current economy mainly focused on growth and profits leading to increasing inequality, catastrophic climate change and loss of biodiversity?

Program

Experience

The Equalnomics program is focused on current students and future leaders.

The goal of Equalnomics is for participants to understand the current mechanics of the economy, gain knowledge about alternative economies, investigate case studies, challenge students to think critically and debate, instigate behavior that leads to decision-making and actions that contribute to a global sustainable and balanced society for humans, animals, plants, and environment.

Equalnomics is a program about ethics, integrity and personal development. About awareness and understanding of the current monetary system and the movement to a sustainable system.

The Equalnomics Program is an experience through which participants reflect on what’s important for them and whether the current economic system is aligned with their values, and discover initiatives (both grassroots and policy) that challenge the status quo and envision a world centered around universal wellbeing.
